- Local Vendors: While 95% of places take Alipay, some tiny street food stalls only use WeChat Pay.

2. Registration (The Real Path)
When you open WeChat for the first time, follow this real-world logic:
- Use Your Home Phone Number (Primary)

- The Hotel Front Desk Hack: If you are already in China, go to your hotel reception. Show them the screen. They have active accounts and are used to helping foreigners.
- Wait 24 Hours: If you are stuck, log out, turn off your VPN, connect to a different network, and try again tomorrow. The system sometimes resets the risk flag.
