  • Authentic Hotpot (大龙燚 / 蜀九香) Skip the tourist traps. Go to community spots like Wuliguan or Dian Tai Xiang.
    👉 Local Hack: Order "老三篇" (Tripe, Duck Intestine, Yellow Throat). Dip in garlic & sesame oil to cool the spice.
  • Rabbit Head (双流老妈兔头) The ultimate local midnight snack. ¥15-20 Spicy and rich.
  • Chen Mapo Tofu (陈麻婆豆腐) The birthplace of Mapo Tofu. Numbing and spicy. Must eat with rice!

Must-visit icons
  • Panda Base (大熊猫繁育研究基地) Ticket: ¥55. Sightseeing bus: ¥30. Book 14 days ahead!
    👉 Time Hack: Arrive at 07:30 AM. Pandas sleep after 9:00 AM. Go to the South Gate for "Hua Hua" or the West Gate to avoid crowds.
  • Wuhou Shrine & Jinli (武侯祠/锦里) Red walls and bamboo. Jinli is FREE and best visited after 19:00 for the lanterns. Do not eat a full meal here!
  • Kuanzhai Alley (宽窄巷子) Qing Dynasty streets. Only look, don't eat. Walk 5 mins to Kui Xing Lou St for real food.

  • Heming Teahouse (鹤鸣茶社) In People's Park. A bamboo chair, a cup of tea (¥25-40), and an ear cleaning (¥50-80).

  • Jinjiang River Cruise (锦江夜游) Dongmen Pier to Jiuyanqiao. ¥118 Best board at 19:00-19:30. Light shows on the bridges.
  • Jiuyanqiao & Yulin Road Jiuyanqiao for bars (avoid unmarked shops to dodge drink scams). Yulin Road for folk music and the famous "Little Bar".
    👉 Free View: Jiaozi Park Light Show at 19:00-22:30 against the Twin Towers. Best photo spot is the floating bridge.
